1. Google-based Impact Factor (2019): 0.38

The impact factor (IF) or Journal impact factor (JIF) normally referred to is the proprietary journal impact factor from Thomson Reuters calculated based on the Web of Science (WOS) and published in the Journal Citation Reports® (JCR). Currently, this journal hasn’t been indexed in Thomson Reuters JCR. Therefore, its official JCR®JIF is not yet available.

However, Google Scholar now provides an alternative Google-based impact factor. Google Scholar is the only openly available database suitable for journal metric calculation. It has a wide coverage and is a meaningful source. For this reason, SJME is calculating its own Impact Factor by applying Thomson Reuters'(TR) algorithm based on Google Scholar's citation counts.

Journal History

SJME (Supremum Journal of Mathematics Education) is a journal of mathematics education that publishes research papers and studies in the field of mathematics education. SJME is a biannual (January and July), peer-reviewed, open access journal, edited by the Mathematics Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Science,  State University of Singaperbangsa Karawang, West Java, INDONESIA. It addresses mainly to an expert in mathematics education, young researchers and also to other specialists in adjacent fields of research that focus their attention on general and particular issues related to mathematics education. SJME (Supremum Journal of Mathematics Education) is one of the research publications that have been presenting topical issues in the field of mathematics education since 2017. 

The journal articles can be submitted both in Indonesian and English. 2 volumes of the journal are issued every year. The journal encompasses not only research articles but reviews of articles, defended PhD theses and conference proceedings as well. 

In 2017 the journal was awarded an international standard number of an electronic serial.
