The instruments used in the research were assessment questionnaire sheets and questionnaire sheets in the form of Student Worksheets (LKPD) given by the teacher to students. the results obtained, including: a. Mathematical communication skills between students can be increased b. students can understand the material build space.
Nurul Rakhma Aulia, Indah Wahyuni Copyright (c) 2024 Radian Journal: Research and Review in Mathematics Education https://journal.unsika.ac.id/radian/article/view/9052 Thu, 20 Jun 2024 00:00:00 +0700 Analisis Kemampuan Pemahaman Konsep Matematis Siswa Kelas VII pada Materi Bentuk Aljabar https://journal.unsika.ac.id/radian/article/view/12075
Dea Mareta, Rafiq Zulkarnaen Copyright (c) 2024 Radian Journal: Research and Review in Mathematics Education https://journal.unsika.ac.id/radian/article/view/12075 Fri, 23 Aug 2024 00:00:00 +0700 ANALYSIS OF MATHEMATIC PROBLEM SOLVING ABILITY OF STUDENTS OF CLASS VII JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL BASED ON MATHEMATICS ANXIETY https://journal.unsika.ac.id/radian/article/view/6734
The purpose of this study was to analyze the mathematical problem solving abilities of seventh grade junior high school students on rectangular material based on the level of mathematics anxiety. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The research subjects were 3 students of class VIII A of Cirebon State Junior High School. Taking the subject using purposive sampling technique. The data analysis technique consisted of a description of the results of the questionnaire, written tests and interviews, then the results of the written tests and interviews were analyzed, then conclusions were drawn. The results showed that students with low levels of mathematics anxiety were able to pass all indicators, namely being able to understand the existing problem, able to make a settlement plan according to what was known, and able to carry out the completion plan and re-examine the answers obtained so as to get the right results. Students with moderate levels of anxiety are able to pass two indicators, namely being able to understand the problem and make a settlement plan according to what is known and asked, but unable to carry out the completion plan and re-examine the answers so that they get incorrect results. Students with a high level of math anxiety are only able to pass one indicator, namely being able to understand the problem, but not being able to draw up a settlement plan according to what is known and asked, carry out the completion plan and re-examine the answers so that they get incorrect results.

Keywords: Problem Solving Ability, Anxiety Level, Quadrangle.
Jasmine Ramadhani Lasdianto, Haerudin Haerudin, Agung Prasetyo Abadi Copyright (c) 2024 Radian Journal: Research and Review in Mathematics Education https://journal.unsika.ac.id/radian/article/view/6734 Thu, 20 Jun 2024 00:00:00 +0700 MATHEMATIC LOGIC MORAL VALUES PERSPECTIVE BASED ON AL-QUR'AN VERSES IN DAILY LIFE https://journal.unsika.ac.id/radian/article/view/9143
The purpose of this research is to explain how mathematical logic can be used as a tool for understanding and applying moral values contained in the teachings of the Al-Quran in everyday life. This research uses literature review or literature study. Researchers used the bibliographic survey method to collect data to discuss the research title. Relevant data is collected by drawing specific conclusions from general theories. The results of the study show that there are several verses of the Koran that contain mathematical logic from the perspective of moral values, including Al-Insyirah, Al-Fatihah, An-Nisa', and others. The moral values contained in the letter include being honest, persistent or never giving up, obeying the law, and so on.
Devita Indri Febiani, Nailis Sa’adah, Mohammad Kholil, Elvi Nurdina Copyright (c) 2024 Radian Journal: Research and Review in Mathematics Education https://journal.unsika.ac.id/radian/article/view/9143 Thu, 20 Jun 2024 00:00:00 +0700 indonesia https://journal.unsika.ac.id/radian/article/view/12092
This research aims to analyze students' mathematical communication skills in terms of gender differences in quadrilateral material. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. The subjects in this study were ninth grade students of Widya Nusantara Junior High School totaling 22 students. To measure students' mathematical communication skills, researchers used test instruments in the form of 3 quadrilateral material description questions which contained 3 indicators of mathematical communication skills and interviews which were then analyzed by the mean difference test. The results of this study show that, in the indicator of mathematical expression, male students tend to create mathematical models based on their understanding without relying on the formulas they have learned. In contrast, female students more often create mathematical models relying on the formulas they have learned. Regarding the drawing indicator, there is no significant difference between the mathematical drawing abilities of male and female students. However, in this indicator, female students excel more than male students.

Keywords: Gender, Mathematical Communication Skills, Quadrilateral
An nisaa Mutiara Salsabila, Nita Hidayati Copyright (c) 2024 Radian Journal: Research and Review in Mathematics Education https://journal.unsika.ac.id/radian/article/view/12092 Fri, 30 Aug 2024 00:00:00 +0700
