GAMBARAN PENDERITA KANKER DI RSUD H.SAHUDIN KUTACANE ACEH

Abstrak

Public health problems have now shifted from infectious diseases to degenerative diseases, including malignancies in the form of cancer. Cancer sufferers will get one or more types of therapy that will experience pain due to cancer. Cancer patients who are close to only accept medical decisions and medical therapy and their ability is less involved. The need for a description of cancer patients at the H. Sahudin Kutacane Hospital, Aceh Tenggara to see cancer patients volunteers at the hospital. This study uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The results showed that most of the cancer patients (33%), female gender (64%), high school education (67%), the most types of cancer were breast cancer (31%) and the most clinical stage of cancer was stage III as much as 49%. The results are expected to be used as the basis for further research on cancer, which is still one of the causes of death in the world
