Agrimanex Journal: Agribusiness, Rural Management, and Development Extension is a journal published by Agribusiness Department, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Singaperbangsa, Karawang.

FOCUS AND SCOPE

The focus and scope discussed in the Agrimanex Journal are agribusiness, agricultural economics, rural management, counselling development, community participation, community empowerment, effectiveness of counselling, livelihood/income, agricultural/rural economic institutions, resource management and rural social change.

The focus and scope turn out as the initial review stage when articles enter the OJS Agrimanex Journal. Articles that encounter one of the focus and scope above will be processed for the next review stage. However, if an article that is submitted but does not meet one the requirements above, it will be rejected and directed to other match journals.

ARTICLE SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

  1. Cover Letter / Writer's Statement

The writer’s statement covers a statement that the submitted article is original and it has never been published in another journal. In addition, this letter also comprises the writers’ data including name, affiliation, email and telephone number. The writer's statement template can be downloaded here.

PEER REVIEW PROCESS

  • All articles submitted to the Agrimanex Journal will be processed directly. Those will be pre-screened by the Editorial Board who determines whether the content encounters the scientific and editorial standards of the journal. Likewise, it is in accordance with the objectives and scopes of the journal itself.
  • Each article is checked by using Turnitin, a plagiarism checking software. The level of plagiarism level above 25% will be rejected. If, based on readers, there is a plural publication or salami publication, the reader will be requested to inform the Agrimanex Journal of this suspicion. Thus, it can be studied further. The definition of multiple publications is reporting similar data in more than one article. Salami publication is the cutting or selection of data reported in research into the smallest units.
  • Articles that authorize the Editorial Board's assessment will be sent to selected reviewers according to their expertise. The reviewer's assessment will assist the Editorial Board in determining acceptance/rejection of the article. All of which go through double-blind peer review that is an article review process that hides the names of the writers and review partners. The article review assessment form can be seen here.
  • The Editorial Board targets writers to receive an article acceptance letter in 3-4 months after the article is submitted, but it should be noted that this time can only be achieved when the article process stages run effectively. Articles that do not authorize the review process will receive a notification letter.

THE STATEMENT OF PUBLICATION ETHICS

Agrimanex Journal is committed to maintain the integrity of its academic track record. We strongly encourage writers to study the International Standards for Authorship and Publication Ethics published by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

1) Allegation of Violation

Agrimanex Journal will process seriously if there are violations before and after publication. If these allegations are true, Agrimanex Journal has the full right for that, those cover: announce a checking and a violation, withdraw the article, convey this issue legally by including a mediator, for example from the writer's home institution.

2) Authorship and Contribution

  • The Agrimanex Journal requires writers to explain the originality of the articles registered, to avoid plural publications, and the contribution of each author involved. The format of this Statement Letter can be downloaded at this link.
  • Agrimanex Journal does not accept articles that have been submitted or published in other forms of publication, such as journals, proceedings, book chapters, etc.)
  • The writer must correctly cite all works mentioned in the article (scientific articles or data sets), both in the body of the article and in references. Self-citation is permitted as long as it is relevant to the topic being discussed.

3) Conflict of Interest

  • Writer should avoid conflicts of interest. Every interest such as roles in a project or project funding must be stated explicitly when the author registers his article in the Agrimanex Journal. If there is any doubt regarding a conflict of interest, the author can discuss it with the Agrimanex Journal Editorial Board. Therefore, the Editor can consider whether there is a conflict of interest or not.

4) The Research Data

  • The Bebestari Editorial Board and Partners have the responsibility to check the data fabrication and falsification. If suspicions arise, the Editorial Board will ask for consideration by inviting other Bebestari Partners, opening a dialogue with the writer, and under certain conditions the Editorial Board has the right to request data sets from the author to check.

5) Ethical Oversight

  • The Agrimanex Journal maintains ethical issues such as consent of respondents and informants to be involved in research, handling confidential data, and mentioning names of companies/organizations related to business ethics.

6) Intellectual Property Rights

  • As stated in the "Copyright Notice", the writer gives full permission to third parties to use articles published in the Agrimanex Journal with the terms provided by the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International license. Copyright in the article is controlled by the writer with a non-exclusive license handed over to the Agrimanex Journal as the original publisher as well as commercial rights to include this article in a physical publication (if any) for sale to libraries or individuals.

7) Post-publication discussions and corrections

  • Agrimanex Journal is open to make changes to articles after publication. Post-publication corrections, revisions, or withdrawing/deleting articles can be carried out in discussions between the writer and the Editorial Board.
  • At the copy-editing and proofreading stage, the editor will make changes to the text without changing the meaning if there are grammatical errors, typos or ineffective sentences. Before the article is published, the Agrimanex Journal will show a camera-ready version (ready for publication) to get approval from the author.

Copyright Notice

  • Articles published in the Agrimanex Journal are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International license. Readers are allowed to freely reproduce, modify or redistribute articles for legitimate purposes (for example, for education, not for commercial purposes), as long as you give credit to the original writer by stating the title of the article, citing the Agrimanex Journal and stating the changes made (if exists), and redistribute derivative works from the article under the same license.

 

Open-access

All articles published by the Agrimanex Journal can be accessed by the public for free. All articles are published under the CC BY license (Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 Lisensi Internasional)

PLAGRIARISM SCREENING

All articles submitted will first go through plagiarism screening using the Turnitin application, the similarity tolerance limit is 25%. If the similarity is more than 25% then the article will be rejected.

Author Publication Charge

Authors whose manuscripts are published in the Agrimanex Journal are subject to an Author Publication Charge (APC) with the following conditions:
1. Student, IDR. 250.000
2. Non Student IDR. 350.000
