General Instructions for Writing Articles

  1. The manuscript is written in English (Highly Recommended) or Indonesian. The abstract section should be written in Indonesian and English if the manuscript is written in Indonesian.
  2. The manuscript is written using correct spelling and grammar according to the language used.
  3. In writing articles in Indonesian, using standard Indonesian words according to KBBI and without mentioning foreign terms is preferable. If the term is not found, the foreign term can be used by writing italics.

  6. The manuscript is written in Century Schoolbook font.
  7. The title of the article is written with capitalization for each word except for conjunctions, font size 14 bold, and centered alignment.
  8. The author's name (without title) is written in font size 11 bold and centered alignment, then on the next line, followed by the name of the affiliation and address with font size 10 (ten) and centered alignment.
  9. If the authors come from one affiliation, there is no need for author numbering. However, if they come from different affiliations, they must be numbered sequentially according to their affiliation. The corresponding author should be marked with an asterisk (*) after their affiliation number. The asterisk indicates that this author is the one to whom all correspondence about the article should be addressed. The distance between lines in paragraphs and bibliographies is single-spaced, while the distance between the title line and the author's name line, the author's name line and the affiliation and address line, the first sentence line and the chapter/sub-chapter title line, and the next chapter/sub-chapter title line with the last line of the paragraph in the previous chapter/sub-chapter and the line spacing between other parts must follow the format as presented in the Article Template.
  10. Figures and tables are centered and need to be referred to in the text (paragraph); for example, Figure 1 shows ..., as presented in Table 1 (the words "Figure" and "Table" must be capitalized).
  11. Each figure must be precise (font size, resolution, and line size must be printed clearly).
  12. The caption (number and name of each image) must be placed at the bottom of the image, and the series must be numbered in Arabic numerals followed by the image title and placed in centered alignment; for example, Figure 1. Total monthly expenditure.
  13. Tables must not contain vertical lines, while horizontal lines are only given in the table heading and at the bottom. Tables must not be screenshots of tables. Column (row) titles in the table are written in Sentence case.
  14. The caption (number and name of the table) must be placed above the table, and the series must be numbered in Arabic numerals followed by the table title, for example, Table 1. Monthly expenditure.
  15. The captions for images and tables use font size 10.
  16. Mathematical equations and theorems must be written using the equation editor in MS Word and numbered sequentially, starting with (1) until the end of the paper, including the appendix. This numbering must begin and end with brackets. Explanations of equations and theorems must be written in italics.

Special Instructions for Writing Articles

  1. The title of the article must be written briefly and clearly, indicate exactly the problem to be raised, not allow for various interpretations, and not contain abbreviations of words that are not commonly used.

  5. Starting from the publication of Vol. 2, No. 1, 2021, the structure of the article content follows the introduction, method, result, and discussion (IMRAD) pattern, so the chapter order is Introduction, Research Method, Results and Discussion, and Conclusion.
  6. The Introduction section clearly describes (i) the general background of the study; (ii) state of the art (a brief literature review) regarding previous (similar) studies to justify the novelty of an article; (iii) gap analysis or statement of gaps or novelty (novelty statement) or unique differences of the current research compared to previous studies; (iv) problems and hypotheses (if any); (v) problem-solving approaches (if any); (vi) expected results or research objectives; (vii) the structure of the article's contents written in the order of discussion of the following chapters after the introduction to the conclusion (if necessary).
  7. The Methods or Research Work Procedures section is clearly written, and a flowchart, proposed mathematical model, pseudocode, or algorithm can be added if necessary.
  8. The Results and Discussion section contains the data used, data processing results, and a discussion related to the research objectives or hypotheses, including a comparison with similar research results. This section can be equipped with tables or images and implications of the research results, both theoretical and applied.
  9. The Conclusion section is brief and precise about (i) sufficiently answering the problem or research objectives, (ii) also being a conclusion from the author logically and honestly based on the facts obtained, and (iii) suggestions can be added.
  10. The entire article's conclusion is written using paragraphs, not in the form of numbering or bullets.
