Human life in society can not be separated from interaction among others. Man as a social being can not live alone, but requires others in various things, such as association, work, help, consecration, security, etc., is a tangible form of social interaction. So to solve segalaproblema that exist in the life of the community requires a caring attitude toward the community that can facilitate and solve problems efficiently. The purpose of this study is to find out how Youth Youth in Youth Community in the Village of Sungai Manau River Manau District of Merangin District and how youths of youth overcome obstacles in social activities of people in Sungai Manau Village, Sungai Manau District, Merangin District. To know what are the benefits of social activities in Manau River Village, Manau District, Merangin District. This study uses a qualitative approach, namely "approach by looking at the object of study as a system means that the object of study is seen as a consisting of interrelated elements and describe the phenomena that exist. Techniques of data collection using observation and interview while the technique will always be related to the subject and the technique of guaranteeing the validity of data if it has the degree of reliability, transparency, dependency, and certainty. The result of the research shows that the role of youth in community social activities is very good, youth as one element of a society, where each activity is expected to make changes towards the better .. Based on the results of the above research it can be concluded that the role of youth reef cadets in social activities of the community is very good, youth as one element of a society, where each activity is expected to make changes towards the better.
