All submissions to PharmaCine: Journal of Pharmacy, Medical and Health Science undergo a rigorous peer review process to ensure the quality and validity of the published research. The journal implements a double-blind peer review process, meaning that the identities of both authors and reviewers remain anonymous. This review process is conducted by experts in relevant fields who eval_uate the submitted manuscripts based on scientific merit, originality, and relevance to the journal's scope.
- Initial eval_uation: Upon receiving a manuscript, the editorial board conducts an initial eval_uation to ensure that the manuscript aligns with the journal's scope and focus and meets the publication guidelines. Manuscripts that do not meet these criteria will be rejected without further review. Manuscripts with a similarity index above 30% will also be rejected at this stage. The editorial office will check the formatting and citation style according to the specified author guidelines. If the necessary requirements are not met, the manuscript will be returned to the author for reformatting and resubmission. If the manuscript meets the criteria, it will proceed to the next stage.
- Assignment of Reviewers: The editorial board will assign several independent reviewers who are experts in fields related to pharmacy, medicine, or health sciences, depending on the topic of the manuscript. These reviewers are selected based on their expertise and experience, ensuring an objective eval_uation. In the double-blind process, both authors' and reviewers' identities remain confidential to maintain impartiality.
- Review Process: Each reviewer will eval_uate the manuscript on various criteria, including scientific contribution, originality, research methodology, accuracy of data analysis, and relevance to the journal's objectives. Reviewers will provide suggestions, comments, or recommendations for the manuscript’s acceptance, revision, or rejection.
- Final Decision: After receiving feedback from the reviewers, the editorial board will consider their recommendations to make a final decision. If revisions are required, the authors will be asked to address the reviewers' comments and resubmit the revised manuscript for further review.
