Abstract

Sukabumi Regency has very interesting tourism potential such as beaches, waterfalls and mountains. Unfortunately, this potential has not been fully utilized due to the lack of information available to tourists. To maximize Sukabumi's tourism potential, we need an Android application that is easy to use and provides complete tourist information. In this study, the author uses Android Studio as a development tool to create applications. The method used is the observation method used to observe and write down the necessary data such as prices and tourist opening hours. Interviews are conducted with residents and tourists to obtain accurate information about needs and visitor preferences. Literature study is also used as a data collection technique related to tourism and information technology. and for the software development method using the waterfall, as well as the algorithm method using the Linear Congruental Generator is used to randomize the numbers every time a tourist ticket is purchased. This application provides detailed tourism information starting from prices, opening hours, descriptions and locations that can be accessed using Google maps. As well as the existence of a ticket booking feature in the application that can make tourists not hesitate to go to tourist attractions because they have run out of tickets, this application also has the uniqueness that tourists can immediately see the latest news that is happening in Sukabumi through the application.
