Abstrak

Contraceptive use is one of the variables that directly influences birth rates. Based on birth control tools/methods, injecting is becoming an increasingly popular choice. there was a significant increase from 11.7% in 1991 to 29% in 2017. This study aims to identify factors that influence family planning acceptors in using 3-month injectable contraceptives at PMB N. The research was conducted in September 2023. Method The research used in this research is an analytical survey research method with a cross sectional design. The population was all mothers who used contraceptives who visited PMB N and the sample was 94 people. The sampling technique uses Accidental Sampling. Data processing procedures using Editing, Coding, Processing, Cleaning. Univariate data analysis in this research is the dependent and independent variables analyzed. Bivariate analysis using the chi-square test with a confidence level of 95%. Based on bivariate data, the results showed that there was a relationship between knowledge and the use of 3-month injectable contraceptives with a p value of 0.001, and there was a relationship between maternal parity and the use of 3-month injectable


 


contraceptives with a p value of 0.008. There is no relationship between education and the use of 3-month injectable hormonal contraceptives with a p value of 0.599. Providing information about contraception does not only focus on short-term contraceptive methods, but places more emphasis on long-term contraceptive methods.
