Abstrak

Isu perubahan iklim merupakan permasalahan global yang sangat strategis untuk diatasi, karena memiliki dampak terhadap lingkungan. Rendahnya kemampuan memahami dan menginterpretasikan data perubahan iklim yang disajikan secara statistik, berhubungan dengan rendahnya kemampuan literasi statistik. Literasi statistik merupakan kemampuan kritis untuk mengakses, memahami, menginterpretasikan, dan mengevaluasi informasi atau pesan yang bersifat statistik dalam beragam konteks. Hal ini yang mendasari peneliti untuk merancang lintasan pembelajaran menggunakan konteks perubahan iklim untuk melatih kemampuan literasi statistik mahasiswa calon guru. Metode yang digunakan desain research type validations studies dengan subjek mahasiswa calon guru. Penelitian ini menghasilkan HLT yang mampu memfasilitasi kemampuan literasi statistik serta berhasil mengidentifikasi level kemampuan literasi statistik mahasiswa yang berada pada tahap rendah dan menengah.
